This particular listing was VERY popular, until we sold out of our seedling-size plants. We now have more plants available for those Cymbidium lovers who are looking for stuff off the beaten path, AND have the patience to grow these seedling plants until maturity. These are young single-growth seedling plants, about 3 - 5 years from reaching Blooming Size. They are true seedlings, not clones (like most commercially available Cymbidiums). These plants DO NOT come with tags (so please, no inquiries as to the identity), but they are bred from excellent parents. We now have over 20+ different varieties of Cymbidiums, and because they're grown from seed, EACH PLANT IS UNIQUE! ABOUT THE PHOTO of the flowers: these are just photos of beautiful Cymbidiums; they are NOT the varieties we're offering. It's just a representative photo we use to indicate the random/mystery/grab-bag/potluck kind of selection. PLEASE do not ask about getting the orange one in the corner, or the green one, etc... A COMMON QUESTION: 'If I get the 2-pack or 4-pack, will they all from the same cross (or the same type)?' ANSWER: No, we'll do our best to make sure that each plant you get is different.

• Cymbidium small seedling plants 3+ years from reaching Blooming Size. This is for PATIENT, EXPERIENCED growers, not orchid beginners (NOTE: Plants are NOT in-bud/bloom when shipped)
• Huge variety of seedlings from many different crosses. Seedlings are single-growth plants in 2.25-inch square pots (see photos). Since they are grown from seed (and not clones), each seedling is unique -- some will definitely be showstoppers!
• Easy to grow, but slow-growing when starting from seedling stage. These plants are ONLY for experienced, patient growers who understand that it take 3 - 5 years for Cymbidium seedlings to reach Blooming Size. But definitely worth the wait!
• Grow in moderate to bright shady conditions. Avoid freezing temperatures. Water 2X/week. Orchid bark (fir bark) media/soil works very well for Cymbidium orchids.
• IMPORTANT NOTE: these plants are NOT IN BUD/BLOOM when shipped. They are small seedlings in 2.25-inch square potsabout 3 - 5 years from reaching Blooming Size. These plants are suitable only for experienced, patient growers of orchids, not new growers. If you have fewer than ten orchids under your belt, we respectfully advise you to pass on this (for now). PLEASE look at all the pictures in this listing so you know the condition/size of plant you'll be getting.
